Hassan is a kite runner he is the best and he loves what he does. Baba gets the boys the same kites , so neither is better than the other.

Amir is jealous , he wants to be the favorite of his father and he is trying to be the person his father wants. As a sibling one always wants more attention or doesn't think they get enough cause its on the other children. The favorite is usually the one who gets the most attention. Both the boys love kite fighting it is where they both get the attention they need or crave.
