Character development:
Amir does his best to care and love Sohrab in ways he was never shone. Sohrab still doesn't trust Amir even though he helped save him from his adopter. Soraya and Amir are very lost, sad and empty they have a child now yet it feels like there is still only them to. Sohrab refuses to talk to anyone. When he gets a kite to fight for Sohrab it makes him feel like a child again.
Human Condition:
Amir and his wife experience sadness, worry, emptiness, loss, a small amount of joy . From the hospital Sohrab has refused to talk to anyone, it is very similar to the day in the park. The character's have been more heart break then I have ever been through.
